Alpha Bank receives the “Best use of Technology” award for their Loyalty Platform

Athens, Greece and Aix-en-Provence, France, 23rd June 2014 - Collinson (formerly Welcome Real Time), a leading global provider of marketing and loyalty solutions, proudly announces that Alpha Bank’s Multi-schemes loyalty solution has received a new award, at the occasion of the Loyalty Awards event in London for the “Best use of Technology for a Loyalty Program - Europe, Middle East and Africa”.

Using Welcome’s multi-schemes solution for several months already, Alpha Bank, one of the largest banks in Greece has been running four distinct loyalty programs for the Greek market, each with their own branding and customer segments, which led to an optimization of the operations and a significant costs reduction. The solution coverage is now being extended to the Balkans operations to run additional programs for the Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Albanian markets of Alpha Bank.

While awarding this recognition on June 10th in London at The Loyalty Awards event, the judges mentioned ”a classic example of what can be achieved, even in a very tough economic environment, demonstrating impressive integration at the POS and a cost effective use of technology, which is now being rolled out in a number of new markets."
