Our in-house team of qualified medical staff includes Doctors, nurses and other medical professionals who are on hand 24/7 to support and advise customers on any medical or security problem and provide an essential link with local medical staff around the world.

Scott is responsible for growing Collinson’s assistance offering and supporting its ambition to deliver the industry’s most innovative and customer-centric claims and assistance service. In particular, Scott's focus is on developing Collinson’s travel risk management, medical, and security assistance services, alongside the delivery of best-in-class services to the company’s existing leisure and financial clients.

Scott has a wealth of experience in medical and security assistance.  He was Group CEO of Healix International and HX Global between 2011 and 2016 and, prior to this, led the Sales and Marketing team at International SOS.  


Simon Worrell

Simon leads Collinson’s medical services department.

Simon leads He has two decades of experience in the delivery of international medical assistance and emergency care, and also brings significant specialist expertise in immunology and communicable diseases. In addition to providing medical direction to the medical assistance teams in both the UK and Ireland,  Simon also focuses on wider international health challenges faced by global travellers such as Ebola and Zika pandemics, providing regular updates, helping to keep travellers and expatriates informed and safe.

Simon previously spent eight years at Healix, where he was Deputy Chief Medical Officer, led their medical intelligence and publication efforts, and pioneered eLearning courses in communicable and infectious disease management. He also worked in NHS hospitals for nine years, where he specialised in the management of communicable diseases.
Peter Cooper

Peter is responsible for directing Collinson’s security operations to deliver robust monitoring and crisis response procedures in conjunction with third-party security partners. This supports our business travel services with comprehensive security advice and forms the backbone of Collinson’s enhanced travel risk management proposition.

Peter has held lead roles at two of the world's top Travel Risk Management services firms, delivering security solutions and evacuation plans in countries such as the Ukraine and Nigeria. He also served in the British Army in a variety of roles as an Officer in the Royal Military Police, managing security crises and operations.
Marianne Jackson

Marianne is clinical lead of the Collinson medical team. She is dual qualified in emergency medicine and general practice and is currently also working in an emergency department as a GP. Prior to joining Collinson, Marianne spent 12 years working in assistance medicine, most recently as Regional Medical Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at AIG (Travelguard).

Denise is responsible for the commercial team for corporate medical and security assistance business at Collinson.

Denise’s focus is to develop relationships with new clients and manage existing clients for Collinson. Denise brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance and assistance industry. Prior to joining she was Regional Account Director across South and South East Asia at International SOS. Previous to that Denise undertook senior roles at CIGNA, Europ Assistance and BUPA.

Randall is responsible for Collinson's suite of corporate travel risk solutions.

With over 20 years’ in assistance working with Government, Insurers, NGOs and Corporates, Randall has extensive experience in providing medical, security and travel assistance services to organisations whose employees travel and live internationally. At Collinson, Randall has responsibility for a suite of corporate travel risk solutions and for product innovation.

Helen is responsible for the continued development of Collinson’s comprehensive global Medical and Assistance Networks.

Helen's focus is on strategic partnerships and collaboration with partner providers to deliver an unrivalled, high quality, global network to meet all customers’ health and travel needs. Helen has exceptional experience in developing and managing high performing partnerships/medical networks internationally. This, together with her in-depth knowledge and understanding of international health care systems, provides the opportunity for Collinson to build and develop its core offering in the International Health and Travel market.
David Sarafinas

David Sarafinas VP of Travel Risk Management-Americas

David brings 19 years of experience in Duty of Care/ TRM, as a thought leader creating new concepts and programs for international organizations in order to fulfil their Duty of Care responsibilities. He was instrumental in the creation of HX Global (Healix-US) as Managing Director from inception in 2013 until 2018 and recruited and managed the sales and account management team. David spent 13 years as the senior director of business development for International SOS from 2001-2013.

Prior to his role in the industry, David, as founder of National Medical Electronics, created, staffed, managed, grew and sold one of the largest biomedical engineering companies in the US.  He also spent 10 years serving in the US Navy, assigned to a combat helicopter squadron providing support for the Navy special operations units.
