In these unprecedented and uncertain times, it is vital to your organisation that employees are provided with access to actionable, accurate information and advice to support and keep them healthy and productive.  As the world’s leading provider of assistance and evacuation services, we recognise many organisations may not have the internal resource or medical expertise to manage all the questions and concerns from employees and expatriates. Even where resources exist, they will be limited.

At Collinson, one of the world’s leading medical assistance companies, providing services for over 50 years and supporting over 20 million people a year, we have an in-house Global Medical Director, Dr Simon Worrell, who leads Collinson’s global medical team of Doctors and Nurses. Dr. Worrell has 17 years of experience in global assistance medicine.  As an Immunologist, he regularly advises Governments and Multi-National Organizations on the risks and management of disease outbreaks such as Ebola, Zika and Influenza, and now Covid-19.

We are honoured to be able to provide this level of experience to you as you look to support your workforce with the best, most accurate and timely advice available.

Transitioning to the Workplace Services

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries have taken the unprecedented step of issuing stay at home orders. Now that the epidemics in most countries are beginning to flatten, attention is turning to employees returning to the workplace to lessen the economic effects seen in response to societal lockdown.

However, the act of returning to the workplace will be more complex than work from home was, requiring more expertise than the act of going into lockdown. Since each country will still be in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic as restrictions start to ease, organisations looking to move their workforces back into physical workplaces will have to consider, and manage through, a number of complex issues including:

  • Devising an optimal strategy for a phased return to the workplace
  • Managing high risk populations
  • Maintaining social distancing and keeping employees as safe as possible at work
  • Dealing with potential COVID-19 outbreaks in the workplace and wider community
  • Answering health concerns and questions from employees
  • Assisting with the psychological and mental health issues of employees during this time of stress

How companies deal with these issues will determine how confident their employees are in returning to the workplace and how safe they feel during this process. Most critical, the success of managing such issues will have a significant effect on company morale, wellbeing and organisational functioning.

Our in-house medical experts will consult with your team to identify risk areas, build remediation plans, and execute the plans.
