Colin Dai, Country Director for Collinson’s China

Collinson, a global end-to-end travel experiences, airport services and travel medical company – announces the appointment of Colin Dai, Country Director for Collinson’s China business. Colin replaces Vivien Deng, who will be leaving Collinson following five successful years with the company.

Colin, a seasoned senior executive and the previous Head of Asia for Fosun, brings with him over 20 years’ experience with leading global and Asian brands. Notable roles include Senior Director, Global Marketing and Business Development for Trip.com; Sales Director for Plaza Premium; Commercial Manager for Qatar Airways; and Sales and Marketing Manager at Virgin Atlantic.

The news follows the announcement that Priority Pass, owned and operated by Collinson, is expanding its network by 21% in 2021, with 103 premium lounges already added this year - 52 of these in China. 19 quality dining and spa experiences have also been added to the Priority Pass network year to date.

As part of its dedication to offer premium experiences, Priority Pass’ sister company, Airport Dimensions recently announced partnerships with the Ambaar Lounge brand as well as JP Morgan Chase; the latter of which recently revealed the first three locations of the premium airport lounge brand ‘Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club’ will include Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) – opening later this year – New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

I am delighted to welcome Colin to the role of Country Director for China. Colin’s experience within the travel, airport hospitality and e-commerce platform spaces will prove key to our continued development of, and investment in, Collinson’s China market, for the benefit of our clients and their customers.

With the global safe return to travel a core focus, Collinson has spent the last 12 months working with airlines, airports and other members of the travel ecosystem, as well as governments around the world to help restart travel safely. Collinson has also used its travel medical resources to become the world’s leading COVID-19 travel testing company, with partnerships with more than 30 airlines, airports and health passport providers including Virgin Atlantic, IATA, CommonPass and Verifly.
