The COVID-19 pandemic has changed business travel. As companies prepare for their employees to safely return to the skies and roads, many will be reviewing their travel programmes to ensure they remain aligned to travellers' needs.

The new ISO 31030 Standard is designed to support these efforts by capturing everything an organisation should be considering and actioning to meet corporate duty of care requirements. Developed by experts from over 160 countries, the guideline covers all aspects of corporate travel and applies to any type of organisation, irrespective of sector.

Todd Handcock, Global Chief Commercial Officer & President Asia Pacific at Collinson, recently spoke at CAPA Centre for Aviation’s virtual conference, CAPA Live, alongside Bob Quick of Global Secure Accreditation, to help explain more about the new Standard and what it means for organisations with travelling employees.

Key takeaways from the session are:

  • An overview of the ISO 31030 Standard
  • Corporate duty of care requirements and why they’re now a C-Suite agenda topic
  • The actions organisations should be taking in relation to the new Standard
