Collinson appointed as travel insurance partner to Saga

Leading insurance and assistance provider, Collinson, has been appointed as travel insurance partner for Saga, the over 50s insurance and travel group. In need of a partner that could offer exceptional value and improve the experience for its customers, Collinson was selected as the best fit for Saga following a comprehensive review.

Collinson will provide travel insurance for its standalone and Saga Holidays optional included travel insurance. With over 40 years’ experience in the travel insurance industry, Collinson will deliver a full-service solution, from underwriting through to claims and assistance. As part of the partnership, Collinson will also manage the insurance for Titan Travel, a Saga-owned luxury travel specialist.

The Defaqto 5-star rated insurance products include Collinson’s Stranded Traveller product, rebranded as Delayed Flight Assistance for Saga, which in the event of a flight delay offers access to over 950 airport lounges across 100 countries. Available to all travel insurance customers, it covers the policyholder and up to four companion travellers.
