Now more than ever, it’s crucial that business does everything it can to protect the planet and drive for net zero like never before. Consumers are demanding no less from brands but are anxious about their ability to deliver – in our recent research, only 26% of respondents were fairly or completely confident that business can stay up to date with changing social and ethical trends such as sustainability, the environment and corporate responsibility.* This was in stark contrast to the businesses we surveyed, where 75% felt this way!**
Loyalty leaders recognise sustainability in loyalty and the provision of green loyalty benefits as major challenges for the next three to five years. And yet many don’t yet know quite how they will meet the high bar of customer expectations.** Closing the gap and solving this will be central to keeping customers and recurring revenues in the years ahead. The status quo won’t cut it as increasingly eco-conscious and ethical consumers look to brands and businesses that positively affect both planet and people.
