Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima — Peru’s main airport — has just unveiled two new lounges operated by Airport Dimensions, a Collinson Group company specializing in premium passenger experiences. With a $20 million investment, The Club LIM and Sleepover lounges combine comfort, technology, art, and gastronomy to deliver a truly unique experience in South America. Check out all the details of this exciting new development!
Art, Gastronomy, and Plenty of Space at The Club LIM
The second exciting addition is the arrival of The Club LIM, the first location in Latin America from the leading shared-use lounge brand in the United States, which operates over 20 locations across North America.
Making its debut in grand style, The Club LIM spans an impressive 1,836 m² and can accommodate up to 454 guests, making it the largest lounge in the brand’s portfolio to date.
But size isn’t the only feature that sets this space apart, The Club LIM celebrates Peruvian culture in every detail.
Seven local artists, including Ricardo Wiesse and Alejandra Ortiz de Zevallos, have contributed original works that reflect the country’s rich culture and identity.
The culinary offering also showcases traditional Peruvian ingredients with a modern twist, curated by renowned chef Ignacio Barrios Jacobs, founder of Urban Kitchen.
Menu highlights include:
Quinotto with ají amarillo
Anticuchero-style fish
Beverages such as Pisco Sour and even Inca Kola — a beloved local soft drink for those in the know.
In addition, the VIP lounge offers rest areas, showers, meeting rooms, a kids’ zone, and a bar, all thoughtfully designed to serve both business travelers and families in transit.
Rest and Privacy with Sleepover
One of the standout additions at Lima Airport is Sleepover—a rest space making its debut in South America after gaining popularity among travelers in the Middle East. Located before the security checkpoint, this 427 m² lounge can accommodate up to 92 guests and is designed to cater to all types of travelers, from solo flyers to families. It offers flexible booking options, ranging from a quick two-hour rest to a full night's sleep. Sleepover offers four distinct types of accommodation.
FlexiSuites feature fully reclining seats in a zero-gravity position, designed to maximize comfort and improve circulation. Each suite is equipped with wireless charging, retractable power outlets, storage compartments, and soft ambient lighting. The design takes inspiration from airline business class cabins, combining ergonomic functionality with modern style.
The lounge also features 13 Nap Pods—individual capsules that can function as reclining chairs or convert into beds, designed with both comfort and functionality in mind.
In addition, there are private cabins available in both individual and family configurations, accommodating up to four people perfectly for those traveling in groups or with children.
The space also adopts the “Lounge Lite” concept, offering cocoon-style seating for up to 19 passengers, arranged in cozy two-person pods.
For travelers looking to freshen up during a layover, the lounge includes four spacious shower rooms, providing convenience and comfort down to the smallest detail.
It’s an excellent option for those seeking privacy and relaxation between flights.
A Positive Impact for the Airport and for Peru
The decision to launch the new lounges in Lima was no coincidence. Jorge Chávez International Airport is experiencing a period of rapid growth and is firmly establishing itself as a strategic hub connecting North America, South America, and Europe. According to Cirium, airlines have scheduled over 30.1 million seats at this airport for 2025, reflecting a 4.55% increase compared to 2024. In the international sector, capacity will reach 13.9 million seats, with a 6.59% growth.
These figures underscore why Airport Dimensions selected the Peruvian capital as the gateway for its expansion into Latin America. According to Giorgio Benza, the company’s Vice President for the region, two additional VIP lounges are expected to open in Lima by 2026, aiming to further elevate the value and services provided to passengers across South America.
The project’s impact goes beyond the airport itself, generating positive ripple effects in the surrounding community. The construction of the lounges created over 170 direct jobs, many of which were filled by residents of Callao, where the airport is located. In addition, the decision to partner with local suppliers reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting regional economic development.
Lounge Access
Both The Club LIM and Sleepover are accessible to members of the Priority Pass and LoungeKey programs, which are available through various credit cards in Brazil and around the world.
For non-members, access to Sleepover starts at $23 USD for a two-hour stay, while The Club LIM offers entry starting at $55 USD.
