  • New facility opens at home of Eurostar and Luton Airport services, boasting range of solutions for practical, reliable and affordable COVID-19 travel testing, including TTR
  • Facility open for any travellers looking for a convenient central London location in which to get tested

Collinson, the expert in global medical assistance and travel experiences, has opened a brand-new travel testing facility in St. Pancras International. Located on The Grand Terrace in the iconic London destination, the facility offers a convenient place for any traveller looking for a central London location in which to get tested.

Opening up just in time to meet peak summer demand, the facility offers a range of Government-approved COVID-19 testing solutions.

Whilst fully vaccinated travellers returning to England from some Amber-list countries no longer have to quarantine, they still need to take a PCR test on arrival or by day two. Partially or unvaccinated travellers returning from ‘Amber’ countries will still need to complete a test by day two and on day eight, or Test-to-Release on day five. Many countries also require a Fit to Fly certificate ahead of travelling, but travellers should check the entry requirements of their intended destination country using the GOV.UK foreign travel advice pages to be confident of the latest requirements.

As both home to the Eurostar and with regular Thameslink services to Luton Airport, Collinson’s facility at St. Pancras is a convenient location whether travellers are heading directly from the station to their trip, or if they’re looking for a central London location to get tested before travelling at a later date. They can do so while taking advantage of St. Pancras’ many premium retail and dining experiences, more than at any other UK station.

Over the past few weeks, the number of people taking Collinson travel tests across the UK has nearly doubled, showing there is a strong demand from Brits looking to take advantage of the easing of restrictions and get abroad after months of lockdown.

“With UK restrictions removed in their entirety after nearly 16 months, Brits are keen to take advantage of their freedoms and head abroad,” said David Evans, Joint CEO, Collinson. “But while local restrictions are being lifted, the UK still has one of the strictest travel testing regimes in the world. At Collinson, our goal has always been to make travelling as seamless as possible for passengers, and we know that’s especially important to help industry recovery right now."

The new facility will offer passengers PCR, Antigen and Antibody tests. It also offers the pre-return video test kit to pack into their suitcase for in-destination testing with a medical practitioner before returning to the UK. Customers can order their test kit and book their appointment a minimum of three full working days prior to their UK departure. Up to 72 hours before their return flight, customers complete their test via video consultation with a medical practitioner, who will verify the result and issue relevant certification via email, all in line with the current UK Government requirements for UK arrivals.

We’re always looking to provide the best experience possible for those needing to test for travel. Our new testing facility at St. Pancras International gives travellers a practical and affordable way to meet the necessary testing requirements – and all while making use of the numerous shops and dining opportunities.

The testing facility is located on The Grand Terrace (Unit 56) on the same floor as the champagne bar. Test prices start from as little as £32 for a Lateral Flow Antigen and £66 for PCR, to book visit collinsontest.com.
